New Filter Tip

Due to the different density of liquor vs. water the first bottle filtered on a new filter sometimes has a lot of carbon dust in it, no matter how much you rinse it with water before first use. We’ve noticed that %90 of this dark dust comes out in the first few ounces of the vodka that is filtered, so if you dump out the first half cup or so that comes out (if it comes out dark) then your first bottle will look much cleaner. And don’t worry, the carbon dust is not unhealthy (it’s actually good for you) so if you don’t want to waste $.65 in vodka you can drink the grey stuff with pride. If your first bottle comes out dark you can cover up the color with cranberry juice.
